YWHO Virtual Community Consultation

Ywho Logo Primary BilingualYWHO is seeking your feedback!

Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) is set to rollout a pilot launch of a new virtual platform to deliver integrated youth services to select YWHO Hub sites.

YWHO is a network of 22 youth wellness hubs across Ontario that provide a range of low barrier, high quality integrated services for youth aged 12 to 25. These services provide support for mental health, substance use, primary care, education, employment, housing, and other social services.

The YWHO Virtual Platform will be a web-based platform where youth aged 12 to 25 years can receive virtual access to services provided at the hub. It will provide a range of fully integrated, developmentally and culturally appropriate youth services, and will amplify the unique capacities of a virtual platform to deliver youth supports and services in engaging and effective ways. The YWHO virtual platform is currently being co-designed in collaboration with young people, family members, service providers, and more.

Upcoming Feedback Session:

The YWHO Provincial Office is hosting two virtual Community Consultation events for youth and caregivers to inform the implementation of the YWHO Virtual platform. These sessions are intended to gather feedback from regional youth advisory members, service users, and family members/caregivers in our communities. Participants can attend one of the session dates below

We recognize that the event is approaching quickly. We have created promotional posters to share. Although the posters are in French and English, the consultations will be held in English only.

We would love to see a group of young people with varied experiences and specifically to hear from communities historically/systemically excluded from healthcare supports and leadership.

Also stay tuned for a survey (French and English available) that will gather additional feedback from those unable to attend the events.

Please reach out to lee.cameron@camh.ca if you have any questions.
