Watch the webinar recording of the recent webinar: Supporting high quality early psychosis intervention in Ontario - What have we learned, where are we going?
The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care released the Ontario Early Psychosis Intervention Program Standards in 2011 to ensure that early psychosis intervention (EPI) programs throughout the province provide consistent, high-quality services.
Two surveys were conducted to learn about current program practices across Ontario in relation to the standards. The first looked at the results with respect to standards 1-6. The second focused on standards 7-13.
This webinar highlighted the results of survey 2, including:
- The current state of EPI programs with respect to:
- staff training and education;
- research, program evaluation, and data collection;
- barrier-free service and health equity;
- program networks;
- accountability;
- Next steps, including exploring what the existing data can tell us about EPI clients and developing a formal structure for monitoring program performance.
