Advanced training series: Congruence Couple Therapy for gambling and substance use

This webinar is hosted by Gambling, Gaming and Technology Use.

This advanced training opportunity is being offered only to clinicians with five or more years of experience working with gambling, gaming or technology use clients. There will be six weekly workshops that are limited to a small group to allow for discussion and role-play. These will be facilitated by Dr. Bonnie Lee. Please note that you may be contacted to confirm your eligibility.

Congruence Couple Therapy is a humanistic, integrative, trauma-informed model that provides a theoretical map to guide clinicians to intervene systemically among four inner-outer and past-present dimensions. Emotion regulation and congruent communication help clients shift from dysfunctional to effective patterns in relation to self and other. Using an interactive format, participants will engage in discussions and role-play of case vignettes on how CCT can be applied to individual and couple clinical issues with evidence from research.

Dates: Wednesday mornings from 10:30 to 12:30 starting February 3 until March 10, 2022
