Webinar: ConnexOntario: A brief history and overview

This webinar is hosted by Gambling, Gaming and Technology Use. 

So much has transpired in mental health and addictions over the last two years during the COVID-19 pandemic and there is much to learn from our colleagues at ConnexOntario. Anne Counter, Director of System Navigation and Information Services will be taking us through the history of ConnexOntario, providing us a refresher of their services, as well as sharing current data in regards to trends specific to gambling and technology use.

We will also learn about the impact of COVID-19 on the ConnexOntario team and its services. We will also get an insight into new initiatives and what is on the horizon for them. Please join us for a 45 minutes presentation followed by a 15 minute question and answer period.

Anne Counter (Honours BA, Social Sciences) has been with ConnexOntario Health Services Information since 1996. She is the Director, System Navigation and Information Services. Prior to coming to ConnexOntario, she worked for approximately 10 years in community corrections with St. Leonard's Society of London, in a variety of positions and ultimately as the Director of one of the provincial community resource centres (halfway house). Anne is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Arts (Social Sciences) degree.
