Gambling Gaming & Technology Use (GGTU) presents a short, self-directed online course which will provide students and mental health professionals with a foundational understanding of problem gambling and gaming.
In this course users can discover current evidence and best practices for recognizing and supporting individuals at risk of, or experiencing, problem gambling and/or problem gaming. This includes information on evidence-based screening tools, assessment, and treatment approaches.
The course is immediately accessible upon registration and is accredited by the Canadian Problem Gambling Certification Board and the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation. It is eligible for 4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
