We help build system capacity by developing training courses and supporting learning enrichment for a variety of provincial and partner training programs. Add link to eLearning page here for now? (if not, where should we link to eLearning from?) https://moodle11.camhx.ca/moodle/
Provincial Training Programs
Ontario Structured Psychotherapy
The Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) program provides publicly funded access to evidence-based psychotherapy services for adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and anxiety-related disorders.
Our KMb team co-developed and administers the OSP Training Program, which is a standardized, comprehensive clinical training program for in-service OSP clinicians. This workplace-based training model prepares clinicians through a combination of virtual (e-learning) programming, while engaging in ongoing consultation, and progress monitoring and assessment. The program was developed by a team of education specialists and subject matter experts from across the province.

Mental Health and Well-Being in Later Life
The Mental Health and Well-Being in Later Life Program focuses on enriching the mental health and well-being of Canadians in their senior years. We mobilize evidence on issues related to mental health and aging. We develop training programs and work closely with partners to build capacity among service providers and community organizations who care for or support older adults across Ontario.
Gambling, Gaming & Technology Use
The Gambling, Gaming and Technology Use (GGTU) Program supports addictions and mental health service providers through training and education, developing digital tools and resources, and facilitating knowledge sharing. We develop and deliver courses to provide professionals with the latest information on evidence-informed practices for the identification and treatment of problem gambling and other behavioural addictions, including problem technology use. Our courses and webinars are accredited by the Canadian Problem Gambling Certification Board and the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation.
Partner Programs
We help build system capacity by working with partners to develop and deliver online training courses for a variety of audiences to respond to important topics.
Individual Placement & Support
IPS is an evidence-based practice that supports adults with mental health challenges to work in competitive employment. It has been adapted for youth to include support with education.
These two online courses will support service providers working with youth to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work in IPS in diverse settings across Canada.
Our team supported with the development of two self-directed, online courses to support service providers to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work in IPS in diverse settings across Canada.
Measurement Based Care
Measurement-based care (MBC) involves the regular use of standardized, validated screening tools to track a client's progress over time and to inform treatment. MBC helps with tracking the progression of a youth in their treatment as well as helping to identify areas of strength and areas where treatment needs to be adjusted to provide more support. MBC is a dynamic ongoing process between youth and their providers, which aims to empower youth to play an active role in their treatment.
Our team is developing an online course on MBC for Integrated Youth Service workers across Canada. The course will be launched in Spring of 2024.
Past Programs
Cannabis Hub
Following Cannabis legalization in Canada in 2018, our KMb team curated evidence and developed resources to help connect service providers and other stakeholders from various sectors across the country to find information on the non-medical use of cannabis. Funding for this project ended in 2022 but the resources are still available and the discussion forum remains active.
